Minimum Wage - New Minimum Wage Set at $200

Mr Narath CHHEAV, EuroCham's Board Member & Chairman of HR Committee, participated as a member of NCMW for the minimum wage discussions for 2022 and 2023, which began on 15 August.

Following a vote by the National Council of Minimum Wage (NCMW) at its final meeting on 21 September 2022, the new minimum wage for employees in the Textile, Garment, Footwear, Travel Goods and Bag Industries starting January 2023 will be $200.

The minimum wage during the probation period will be 198$, according to Prakas 247/22 of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
