COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Becoming a manager is an exciting step, but it also comes with new challenges. This one-day workshop is designed to help newly promoted managers build the confidence, mindset, and essential skills needed to lead effectively.
Through interactive sessions and practical tools, participants will learn how to communicate with clarity, delegate with purpose, manage team performance, and motivate others.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
This training aims to help new managers transition successfully into their leadership roles. Participants will learn how to manage people with greater confidence, delegate effectively, communicate clearly, and address performance issues. You will also explore how to motivate your team and build a foundation for long-term success as a manager.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

MODULES:
Module 1: Stepping into Management
This module introduces the shift from individual contributor to manager. Participants will reflect on their new responsibilities and learn how to avoid common mistakes new managers make.
Module 2: Communication & Delegation
Participants will practice assertive communication and active listening. They will learn how to delegate tasks clearly and how to empower others while maintaining accountability.
Module 3: Motivation & Feedback
This session focuses on understanding what motivates people at work and how to provide constructive feedback. Participants will explore simple strategies to recognize good performance and address challenges.
Module 4: Managing Performance, Building Trust & Action Planning
The final session guides participants in setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and building trust within the team. A simple performance management framework will be introduced for daily use.
Participants will also create a personal action plan to apply their learning and strengthen their management practice after the training.
