COMMUNICATION & TEAMWORK: Collaborate Like a Human (Unmute & Reclaim Your Work & Life)
DURATION: 1-Day Workshop
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Modern workplaces are filled with tools and systems for collaboration, yet many professionals still feel unseen, unheard, or disconnected in their teams.
This one-day training helps participants reclaim their voice, rebuild trust, and rediscover the human element in daily collaboration. Through proven models, structured practice, and peer reflection, participants will learn how to express themselves more effectively, listen with empathy, and handle difficult dynamics with confidence.
The course is ideal for professionals who want to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and become more engaged, collaborative contributors to a healthier work culture.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
This workshop helps individuals reconnect with the human side of collaboration to make daily work more energizing and engaging. Participants will learn to express themselves with authenticity, build mutual trust, and co-create respectful, motivated work relationships.
The goal is to reduce friction, boost connection, and increase motivation and productivity through more meaningful collaboration.
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand what dehumanizes collaboration (and how to stop doing it).
Practice authentic, empathetic communication.
Navigate difficult dynamics with emotional maturity.
Set better expectations and boundaries in teamwork.
Build trust and psychological safety.
Develop habits of listening, presence, and repair.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone who works with others, from team members to cross-functional collaborators, and wants to build healthier, more human work relationships, feel more motivated and connected, and be more productive and engaged in their daily work.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
There are no requirements in terms of job position, collaboration tools, or prior communication training. What truly matters is mindset. This course is for individuals who are open to rethinking how they interact at work, who care about improving team dynamics, and who are willing to explore how human connection can lead to better collaboration, well-being, and performance.
MODULES:
Module 1: Why We Go Silent at Work?
This opening session explores why people often “mute” themselves at work, holding back ideas, feedback, or concerns. Participants will uncover the hidden emotional and cultural reasons behind silence, and learn about psychological safety: what it is, how it's lost, and why it matters. They will also begin recognizing the subtle signs of unhealthy dynamics that block honest collaboration.
Module 2: Human-Centered Collaboration
Participants will explore what it means to collaborate as humans, not just roles. This session emphasizes the shift from merely coordinating tasks to building real connection and trust. Through practical tools, participants will practice expressing their needs respectfully and listening to truly understand others, not just to reply.
Module 3: Navigating Tension and Disconnection
Every team experiences friction. This session helps participants build the confidence and language to face it constructively. They will learn how to approach misalignment with curiosity, reframe conflict as a chance for growth, and engage in “repair conversations” that address disconnection before it turns into disengagement.
Module 4: Building a Culture of Mutual Respect & Action Planning
The final session focuses on the small, everyday actions that shape team culture. Participants will explore how micro-interactions, like appreciation, clarity check-ins, and inclusive rituals, can build a deeper sense of belonging and shared purpose.
The workshop ends with personal action planning to help each participant bring these practices into their team starting tomorrow.
TRAINING METHODS:
Structured sessions with clear goals, activities, and wrap-ups.
Engaging mix of lectures, discussions, role-plays, peer sharing, and hands-on tasks.
