CDC: Registration of 29 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 1.4 Billion

29 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$1.4 billion were registered by the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia in October 2025.
In October 2025, the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia decided to register a total of 29 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$1.4 billion and the potential to create approximately 25,000 jobs. Of the total investment projects, 18 were located outside special economic zones and 11 were located within special economic zones. In the first 10 months of 2025, the CIC decided to register 575 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$9.2 billion, an increase of 229 investment projects, or approximately 66%, while the investment capital increased by approximately US$3.7 billion, or approximately 67%, compared to the same period in 2024. It is noteworthy that compared to the investment projects registered in 2024, which were only 346 projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$5.5 billion. In these 10 months, the CIC registered 161 more investment projects than the investment projects registered in the entire year 2024.

Infrastructure
Operation Investment and Funan Techo Canal Construction
Location: Along Kandal, Takeo, Kampot and Kep Provinces
Approximate investment amount: US$1.2 billion
Job creation: 3,199 jobs.
Investment Project to Establish a 221-Bed Hospital
Location: Meanchey District, Phnom Penh
Approximate investment amount: US$76 million
Job creation: 741 jobs.
Industry
Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Produce Fabrics and All Kinds of Yarns
Location: Kien Scay District, Kandal Province
Approximate investment amount: 50 million US dollars
Job creation: 1,820 jobs.
B. In special economic zones

Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Produce All Kinds of Wooden Tiles
Location: Koh Kong Zhejiang Special Economic Zone, Koh Kong Province
Approximate investment amount: US$16 million
Job creation: 285 jobs.
