CDC: Registration of 276 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 4.7 Billion

276 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$4.7 billion were registered in Cambodia.

In the first half of 2026, 276 investment projects were registered by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the Capital-Provincial Investment Sub-Committees (CPISCs) with a total investment capital of approximately US$4.7 billion, which will create approximately 160,000 jobs.

Of the 276 investment projects, 181 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$4.4 billion and can create approximately 120,000 jobs were registered by the CDC, including 105 investment projects outside special economic zones, 7 projects to establish special economic zones, and 69 investment projects in special economic zones.

Separately, 95 investment projects were registered by the CPISCs with a total investment capital of approximately US$291 million and can create approximately 35,000 jobs.

A. Outside the Special Economic Zone

Agriculture & Agro-culture Industry

Investment project to establish a monkey breeding and rearing farm

• Location: Kampong Svay District, Kampong Thom Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$40 million

• Job creation: 282 jobs.

Investment project to develop fruit plantations and build a processing factory

• Location: Banan District, Battambang Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$20 million

• Job creation: 174 jobs.

Project to expand  production and add a factory building for processing mangoes, cashew nuts, bananas, and jackfruit 

• Location: Samraong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$14 million

• Job creation: 2,201 jobs.

Industry

Project to expand production and add a new production facility for cement manufacturing

• Location: Dang Tong District, Kampot Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$210 million

• Job creation: 512 jobs.

Investment project to establish a dyeing factory

• Location: Treang District, Takeo Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$46 million

• Job creation: 330 jobs.

Investment project to establish a full-scale fabric factory 

• Location: Kien Svay District, Kandal Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$25 million

• Job creation: 1,820 jobs.

Investment project to establish a noodle and ingredient factory

• Location: Kong Pisei District, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$23 million

Investment project to establish a canned fish and fish sauce factory

• Approximate investment amount: US$7 million

Investment project to construct and operate a 1,341-room 5-star hotel

Investment project to develop a 150-megawatt solar farm

• Approximate investment amount: US$226 million

Investment project to establish an electric vehicle assembly plant

• Location: Pursat Special Economic Zone, Pursat Province

Investment project to establish a plastic pellet manufacturing plant
