Draft 2nd National Occupational Safety and Health Consultative Meeting

EuroCham's Human Resources Committee representative, Mr Narath CHHEAV and the Advocacy team participated in the consultative meeting on the draft Second National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Profile on July 1st, 2021.

This consultative meeting was presided over by H.E. Dr HUY Hansong, Secretary of State at the ក្រសួងការងារនិងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈ (Ministry Of Labour And Vocational Training) and joined by representatives from line ministries, international organisations, and other key stakeholders.

The Profile summarizes the existing Cambodian situation on OSH and this second edition includes updated information on Cambodia's:

1. Legal framework and relevant standards;

2. Technical standards and guidelines;

3. National policies and mechanisms for setting national health and safety standards;

4. Coordination and cooperation mechanism;

5. Health and safety management system;

6. Policies and programs set out by the private sector; and

7. Regular and ongoing activities related to OSH.
